Six Years Solid Partnership with Qatar Cancer Society
FMM has renewed its sponsorship with Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), reaffirming its commitment to the “Close the Care Gap” initiative. This partnership which started in 2019 aims to reduce healthcare disparities among various communities. The renewed partnership is designed to assist QCS in implementing a series of cancer awareness programs for the community, along with providing complimentary cancer screenings for employees.
Throughout the year, FMM employees have participated in various educational health campaigns. These include awareness programs for breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, cervical cancer, prostate cancer, and blood cancer. In addition, programs focusing on smoking cessation, healthy eating, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle have been conducted in QCS headquarters, hotel venues and FMM compound accommodations.

Blood Donation Drive with Hamad Medical Corporation Since 2014
Since 2014, FMM has been regularly partnering with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) for blood donation campaigns, a collaboration that has seen FMM receive numerous awards for its active participation.
HMC’s mobile blood donation unit visits FMM’s company accommodations twice a year to facilitate participation and spread awareness about the importance of blood donation. FMM has been steadfast in encouraging its employees to support this humanitarian initiative, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive with many employees keen to donate blood.
To date, around 350 FMM employees have participated in these blood donation drives, contributing approximately 157,500 milliliters of blood. This significant contribution underscores FMM’s commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to making a positive impact on the community.
